- a multimedia professional (includes web design, marketing, sales, and business) willing to be filmed teaching a seminar in front of a small audience of our local veterans?
- interested in sponsoring one of our creative film projects written by a participating veteran and produced by students and graduates? Sponsoring a project like this gets you an executive producer credit and special thanks in the credits as well as a tax deduction through an associated veteran-related non-profit/friend.
Physically located in Dallas / Fort Worth (Colleyville), the Star-Spangled Producers program (SSP) is a NO-COST multimedia training program for veterans & active duty. SSP offers hands-on training opportunities with potential certification and potential contracting opportunities for locals and virtual opportunities to learn and participate for those who live elsewhere.
I developed SSP while studying at the Seattle Film Institute and serving as the multimedia producer in the medical-media department of the the Seattle VA hospital. In 2013 I graduated with my MFA in film and brought SSP to DFW!

NEW BENEFIT FOR MIL/VETS ONLY: Miltary/veteran business owners can come into the studio for a professional, five-minute interview about the services you provide! Be ready to talk about your veteran discounts and any current offers you may have. You are provided with a permanent link to your video to paste or embed anywhere desired. We do not charge for this or ask for donations, but will request a thank you letter for each veteran who works on your project on your company letterhead so it may be used as a reference.
FILM SCHOOL: Additionally, instruction in 35mm film photography and film-based filmmaking (super 8 & 16mm) is available for everybody, including civilians. Although film cameras and all equipment are provided, there is a cost for the film based training. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend or family member to photograph if desired. Be prepared to leave with specialized knowledge and fine-art portraits of your friend/family member or of the models we provide! Inquire for details.
